Hello Parents!

We are honored that you are considering sending your son or daughter to Colorado Close Up. Since 1979 Colorado Close Up has opened Colorado's youth eyes to our state's political landscape. Often we hear from our alumni that the program helped break down barriers of a complex and sometimes obscure government. Our focus is to engage youth and nurture a better understanding of how politics effects their lives and how they can become involved and make a difference. Whether your son or daughter aspires to be a judge, a career politician, a teacher or businessman, the Colorado Close Up program will have an impact and benefit them no matter what career path they choose. As you know those at our state capitol are making the decisions and setting policies that will effect their future industries.

We welcome your school delegation to Colorado Close Up and know this experience will have a positive effect on your son or daughter. The program is about leadership and will inspire them to be a part of something and will drive them to make a difference and get involved!
